The beans come from the Don Oscar farm in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, run by brothers Horacio and Alejandro Solis. They have been Doubleshot’s main Costa Rican supplier since 2012, which means a long-term relationship, consistent quality and a coffee whose origin you can actually name.

Compostable capsules

The capsules are made from a bioplastic containing 96% renewable substances such as lignin, glucose and starch. They are 100% biodegradable and compostable – in industrial composting plants and in a home compost heap alike – so a good espresso does not have to leave a pile of aluminium or plastic behind.
