Guava Banana became a classic in The Miners’ lineup over the years, and it now returns in a compostable Nespresso® capsule. Grown at El Vergel Estate in Tolima, Colombia, and fermented anaerobically under temperature control, it pours a vibrant, clean and complex cup led by fresh guava and pomegranate with a cocoa finish. Like every coffee in our range, Colombia Guava Banana is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Colombia Guava Banana
A returning classic, now in capsules
Guava Banana has been a favourite in The Miners’ range for years, first as whole beans in their cafés across Europe. It is now available in the format most of us brew at home – a single capsule, no grinder, no scales, no guesswork.
Vibrant, clean and complex
This is not a flat, one-note coffee. The cup is layered: fresh guava up front, bright pomegranate through the middle, and a soft cocoa finish that keeps everything grounded. Clean, juicy and easy to keep drinking.
48–60 hours of temperature-controlled fermentation
The cherries go through an anoxic natural process – anaerobic fermentation for 48 to 60 hours with careful temperature control – and are then stabilised for 45 days. That slow, deliberate work is exactly where the tropical fruit intensity in the cup comes from.
For lovers of high acidity and tropical fruit
If you enjoy higher acidity and tropical fruit tones, this is your coffee. It is an ideal choice for drinkers who want their espresso to taste like fruit rather than toast – and a great way to show someone what modern Colombian specialty coffee can do.

Delicate, fragrant and remarkably clean, Colombia Rocket Flower is the cup for anyone who never believed coffee could taste like flowers. Grown by Huver Castillo at Finca El Paseo in Colombia’s Nariño region and processed with a meticulously controlled Mosto fermentation, it opens with jasmine and osmanthus, moves into white peach sweetness and finishes with a soft note of Earl Grey. Roasted by The Miners, a specialty roastery and café chain founded in Prague in 2019 and now present across Czechia, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, it is sourced directly from the farmers who grow it. The Miners chose the drip bag format for this lot so its delicate character comes through with maximum clarity – no grinder, no machine, just hot water and a mug. Like every coffee in our range, it is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour.
Why you’ll love Colombia Rocket Flower
Floral, fresh and remarkably light
Boris Kalinin, Head of Coffee at The Miners, describes this lot as clean, fresh and remarkably light. The aroma is all jasmine and osmanthus, the first sips bring juicy white peach, and as the cup cools a gentle Earl Grey note emerges. It drinks more like a fine tea than a heavy coffee – bright, elegant and easy to love.
What Mosto fermentation does
This is not a standard washed coffee. Ripe Caturra cherries are hand-selected and given a 36-hour pre-fermentation in cherry, then floated and disinfected in a 2% sea salt solution. The beans go through anaerobic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with relief valves, and after pulping the collected fermentation juices – the mosto – are added back together with enzymes to steer the coffee towards a floral profile. Main fermentation continues for six days, followed by gentle mechanical drying for 2–3 days below 38 °C and a 15-day stabilisation period. The result is a coffee with unusual aromatic intensity and a very clean finish.
From maths teacher to precision producer
Producer Huver Castillo comes from a third-generation coffee farming family, but went into coffee full-time only in 2015, after working as a mathematics teacher. Finca El Paseo in Buesaco has been in the family for over 20 years, and Huver has built its reputation on precision and innovation in processing. Volcanic soils, cool nights and altitudes of 1,750–1,950 masl give the cherries a slow, even ripening – the foundation of Nariño’s famously expressive, floral coffees. Single farm, single producer, full traceability.
Specialty coffee anywhere, in a few minutes
A drip bag is a single-serve pour-over: freshly ground, precisely portioned specialty coffee in a filter with fold-out hangers. It is perfect for the office, travel, camping or a hotel room – anywhere there is hot water and a mug – and a great way to taste an exceptional micro-lot without buying a whole bag of beans.
Taste & aroma profile
- Flavour notes: osmanthus, white peach, Earl Grey
- Aroma: jasmine and osmanthus
- Character: clean, fresh and remarkably light
- Best enjoyed as: black filter coffee, where the floral notes shine without milk
How to brew

- Open: tear along the top, extend the hangers and hook them over your mug.
- Brew: make three full pours, letting the water drain completely after each one.

Bright, juicy and unmistakably sweet, Colombia Bubble Gum is the kind of cup that makes people put down their phone and ask what they are drinking. Grown by the Restrepo family in Colombia’s Caldas region and processed with an unusual anoxic natural method, it delivers ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and fresh plums from a single small capsule. Roasted by The Miners, a specialty roastery and café chain founded in Prague in 2019 and now present across Czechia, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, it is sourced directly from the farmers who grow it. Like every coffee in our range, Colombia Bubble Gum is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Colombia Bubble Gum
Vibrant, fruity and very sweet
The Head Roaster at The Miners describes this lot as vibrant, fruity and very sweet – and that is exactly how it lands in the cup. Dark berry fruit arrives first, followed by a cocoa-rich body and a clean, plummy finish. It is expressive without being sharp, and the natural sweetness carries all the way through the aftertaste.
What anoxic natural processing does
This is not a standard natural coffee. After picking, the cherries spend 48 hours immersed in water in an oxygen-deprived environment, which kick-starts a controlled fermentation and builds the deep, jammy fruit character. The cherries are then sun-dried for 15–25 days on African raised beds, allowing slow, even moisture loss and full aromatic development. Finally, the coffee rests for 30 days of stabilisation in cherry before hulling, letting the flavours settle and integrate. That patience is what turns a good Colombian lot into something this distinctive.
One family, one farm
Every bean comes from Jardines Chambaku, the Restrepo family farm in Caldas, with producer Felipe Restrepo overseeing the harvest. The varieties are Caturra and Colombia. Single farm, single producer, full traceability – no blending, no anonymity.
For people who like experimental coffee
If your idea of a great cup leans towards fermentation-driven, fruit-led and a little unexpected, this one was made for you. It is a conversation-starter for anyone who enjoys experimental coffees, and a genuinely fun introduction for anyone curious about what modern processing can do.

Unit price perColombia Condor Decaf – specialty coffee with the caffeine gently removed
Roasted by The Miners, a specialty roastery and café chain founded in Prague in 2019 and now present across Czechia, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, Colombia Condor Decaf comes from El Vergel Estate in Tolima, on the Cordillera Central of central-west Colombia. The Miners buy directly from farmers and developed their compostable Nespresso®-compatible capsules through a crowdfunding campaign – so what you get here is a cup of cocoa, passion fruit and orange with none of the caffeine and none of the compromises. Like every coffee in our range, Colombia Condor Decaf is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Colombia Condor Decaf
Decaf with real fruit character
Most decaf tastes flat because the flavour leaves with the caffeine. This one doesn’t. The cup leads with cocoa, opens into passion fruit and finishes on orange – bright, juicy and unmistakably Colombian, with the kind of sweetness you expect from a well-processed lot rather than from added sugar.
Sugarcane decaffeination, done gently
The beans are first steamed to swell, then washed with sugarcane-derived extractors that carry the caffeine away. They are finally rinsed and dried with care so the aromatic compounds stay where they belong – in the bean. It is a natural, solvent-gentle route to decaf, and it is the reason this coffee still tastes like fruit rather than like cardboard.
48–60 hours of anaerobic fermentation
Before decaffeination, the cherries are processed naturally in combination with the sugarcane process and put through anaerobic fermentation for 48 to 60 hours. Drying then happens on raised beds and in mechanical driers. That long, oxygen-free ferment is where the passion-fruit intensity comes from.
Drink it any time of day
Low bitterness, low–medium acidity and medium–high sweetness make this an easy cup after dinner, late in the evening, or simply on a day when you have already had enough coffee – but not enough good coffee.
Taste & aroma profile
- Flavour notes: cocoa, passion fruit, orange
- Acidity: low–medium
- Bitterness: low
- Sweetness: medium–high
- Best enjoyed: as an espresso or lungo, in the evening or whenever you want flavour without the caffeine; also holds up well with milk

Unit price perDoubleshot Extra – juicy, exotic specialty coffee in a Nespresso® capsule
Some coffees are made to be comforting. Doubleshot Extra was made to be memorable. It is a playful, single-origin espresso built around juicy, intense flavours – ripe strawberries, forest berries and a soft sweep of vanilla – that arrive the moment the crema settles in the cup. Roasted in Prague by Doubleshot and sealed into a fully compostable capsule for Nespresso® Original machines, it turns a thirty-second brew into something genuinely exotic. Like every coffee in our range, Doubleshot Extra is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Doubleshot Extra
Juicy, exotic and genuinely different
This is not a background coffee. Extra leads with fruit – strawberry and forest berry rather than the cocoa-and-nut register most capsules settle into – carried by a delicate acidity that keeps everything bright instead of heavy. Vanilla rounds the finish. If you have ever wondered what a modern specialty espresso bar tastes like, this is that cup, without the queue.
What anaerobic natural processing does
The cherries are fermented in a sealed, oxygen-free environment before drying, with the fruit left on the bean throughout. Shutting out oxygen changes which microbes do the work, and they generate the intense berry esters and vanilla-like sweetness you taste in the cup. The lots are then slow-dried on raised African beds, so the sugars set gradually and evenly. It is a demanding, patience-heavy process – and it is exactly why Extra tastes the way it does.
A single farm in Panama
This is single-origin coffee in the strictest sense: one country, one farm, one variety. It comes from Finca Emporium in Panama, run by Graciano Cruz, a grower with a long reputation for meticulous processing work. The variety is Catuaí. Nothing is blended in to fill gaps, so what reaches your cup is the character of one place and one harvest.
Compostable capsules
The capsule is made from a bioplastic containing 96% renewable substances – lignin, glucose and starch. It is 100% biodegradable and compostable, and not only in industrial composting plants: it breaks down in a home compost too. Great coffee with no aluminium and no plastic left behind.
Taste & aroma profile
- Character: juicy, exotic and playful
- Acidity: delicate
- Mouthfeel: creamy
- Flavour notes: ripe strawberries, forest berries, vanilla
- Best enjoyed as: espresso

Why order from Capsulero
At Capsulero we only list coffees we would happily drink ourselves, which is why we work with roasters like Doubleshot rather than filling shelves with anonymous capsules.
