Guava Banana became a classic in The Miners’ lineup over the years, and it now returns in a compostable Nespresso® capsule. Grown at El Vergel Estate in Tolima, Colombia, and fermented anaerobically under temperature control, it pours a vibrant, clean and complex cup led by fresh guava and pomegranate with a cocoa finish. Like every coffee in our range, Colombia Guava Banana is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Colombia Guava Banana
A returning classic, now in capsules
Guava Banana has been a favourite in The Miners’ range for years, first as whole beans in their cafés across Europe. It is now available in the format most of us brew at home – a single capsule, no grinder, no scales, no guesswork.
Vibrant, clean and complex
This is not a flat, one-note coffee. The cup is layered: fresh guava up front, bright pomegranate through the middle, and a soft cocoa finish that keeps everything grounded. Clean, juicy and easy to keep drinking.
48–60 hours of temperature-controlled fermentation
The cherries go through an anoxic natural process – anaerobic fermentation for 48 to 60 hours with careful temperature control – and are then stabilised for 45 days. That slow, deliberate work is exactly where the tropical fruit intensity in the cup comes from.
For lovers of high acidity and tropical fruit
If you enjoy higher acidity and tropical fruit tones, this is your coffee. It is an ideal choice for drinkers who want their espresso to taste like fruit rather than toast – and a great way to show someone what modern Colombian specialty coffee can do.

Delicate, fragrant and remarkably clean, Colombia Rocket Flower is the cup for anyone who never believed coffee could taste like flowers. Grown by Huver Castillo at Finca El Paseo in Colombia’s Nariño region and processed with a meticulously controlled Mosto fermentation, it opens with jasmine and osmanthus, moves into white peach sweetness and finishes with a soft note of Earl Grey. Roasted by The Miners, a specialty roastery and café chain founded in Prague in 2019 and now present across Czechia, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, it is sourced directly from the farmers who grow it. The Miners chose the drip bag format for this lot so its delicate character comes through with maximum clarity – no grinder, no machine, just hot water and a mug. Like every coffee in our range, it is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour.
Why you’ll love Colombia Rocket Flower
Floral, fresh and remarkably light
Boris Kalinin, Head of Coffee at The Miners, describes this lot as clean, fresh and remarkably light. The aroma is all jasmine and osmanthus, the first sips bring juicy white peach, and as the cup cools a gentle Earl Grey note emerges. It drinks more like a fine tea than a heavy coffee – bright, elegant and easy to love.
What Mosto fermentation does
This is not a standard washed coffee. Ripe Caturra cherries are hand-selected and given a 36-hour pre-fermentation in cherry, then floated and disinfected in a 2% sea salt solution. The beans go through anaerobic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with relief valves, and after pulping the collected fermentation juices – the mosto – are added back together with enzymes to steer the coffee towards a floral profile. Main fermentation continues for six days, followed by gentle mechanical drying for 2–3 days below 38 °C and a 15-day stabilisation period. The result is a coffee with unusual aromatic intensity and a very clean finish.
From maths teacher to precision producer
Producer Huver Castillo comes from a third-generation coffee farming family, but went into coffee full-time only in 2015, after working as a mathematics teacher. Finca El Paseo in Buesaco has been in the family for over 20 years, and Huver has built its reputation on precision and innovation in processing. Volcanic soils, cool nights and altitudes of 1,750–1,950 masl give the cherries a slow, even ripening – the foundation of Nariño’s famously expressive, floral coffees. Single farm, single producer, full traceability.
Specialty coffee anywhere, in a few minutes
A drip bag is a single-serve pour-over: freshly ground, precisely portioned specialty coffee in a filter with fold-out hangers. It is perfect for the office, travel, camping or a hotel room – anywhere there is hot water and a mug – and a great way to taste an exceptional micro-lot without buying a whole bag of beans.

Unit price perEthiopia Mohammed Aba Nura – nectarine, florals and effortless elegance in a specialty coffee capsule
Grown at 2,173 metres in the Jimma zone of Ethiopia’s Oromia region, this natural-processed lot comes from the farm of Mohammed Aba Nura and was roasted by The Miners, the Prague-born specialty roastery and café chain that has grown from a single 2019 opening into locations across Czechia, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. They buy directly from farmers, and their Nespresso®-compatible capsules – developed through a crowdfunding campaign – are fully compostable. The cup is clean, elegant and floral, with ripe stone fruit and a soft biscuit sweetness that lingers. Like every coffee in our range, Ethiopia Mohammed Aba Nura is a genuine specialty coffee – traceable, carefully sourced and roasted for flavour, then sealed into a compostable capsule.
Why you’ll love Ethiopia Mohammed Aba Nura
Clean, elegant and floral
This is Ethiopian natural processing at its most refined. Instead of the heavy fermented fruit some naturals lean into, the cup stays bright and composed – delicate florals lift the aroma, the body feels silky rather than syrupy, and the finish is remarkably clean. It is the kind of coffee that rewards slow sipping.
Nectarine and Lotus biscuit sweetness
Ripe nectarine leads, backed by soft floral notes and a caramelised, spiced sweetness that tastes uncannily like a Lotus biscuit. Acidity is medium and juicy, sweetness is high, and the two hold each other in balance from the first sip to the aftertaste.
Handpicked and slowly bed-dried
Cherries are selectively handpicked at peak ripeness, then dried whole on raised African beds for 15–20 days at altitude. Slow, even drying with constant turning is what preserves the clarity and floral character here – it is patient, labour-intensive work, and you can taste it.
A single farm, named and traceable
No anonymous regional blend. This coffee is traceable to one producer, Mohammed Aba Nura, on one farm in the Jimma zone, with the varieties Gibrinna 74110 and Serto 74112 named on the label. Direct sourcing means the story stays intact all the way to your cup.
Taste & aroma profile
